NC Leather Contest

Master Rick collared ~Gypsie~ in June of 1997 and in 2004 moved from Indiana to live in North Carolina with her. They were legally married in September of 2006. Master Rick was on the founding committee of Together in Leather with Master Scott and slavette and served on the staff for three years. He has been a dungeon monitor and active volunteer with WINK, the Safe Sane Consensual Network, Charlotte Area Power Exchange, as well as several other local and regional organizations.

Master Rick was honored to receive his Master's cover during a private ceremony by his peers and his own slave at the Master/slave Conference in 2008. He served as a judge for the 2006 North Carolina Leather Contest and in 2007 was asked to serve as head judge which he has every year since.

Master Rick and his slave, ~Gypsie~, won the title of Southeast Master and slave 2010 at Southeast Leatherfest and will be competing for the title of International Master/slave in 2011 at South Plains Leatherfest. Additionally, Master Rick and ~Gypsie~ founded and direct the Raleigh-Durham chapter of Masters and slaves Together. They also produced the first Leather History Conference which served to aid and promote the Carter/Johson Leather Library and was held in Wimington in October of 2011.

Dan and Melissa hold the title of Southeast Master and slave 2011.  In 1994, Dan was taken to “a seedy little bar” where he was introduced to leather.  At the same time, Mel was reading books about power exchange.  They met through a quirk of fate online and started their M/s relationship in 2008.  They travel throughout the Southeast and U.S. to share their knowledge with and learn from the Master / slave and leather communities about such long term relationship issues as living wills, medical and financial powers of attorney, health and life insurance, etc. in order to help those who are unable to marry, or who choose not to marry, still have a safety net. They also created The W Foundation to assist current leather titleholders with their travel funds and to raise money for various other causes.  Their interests include white water kayaking, hiking through the Mayan jungle and living life to the fullest.

~Gypsie~ surrendered to and was collared by Master Rick in June of 1997. In 2004, Master Rick moved from Indiana to Durham, NC, where they both still reside and in September of 2006 were legally married. In 2003 ~Gypsie~ was nominated for the Pantheon of Leather Southeast Community Service Award and was given the honor of winning the award in 2004. She assisted Master Scott and slavette in the conceptualization and production of Together in Leather and served as a staff member each year it was produced. ~Gypsie~ has graciously served as the judge's girl for the North Carolina Leather Contest since 2006.

~Gypsie~ is a published author of erotic fiction on Literotica.com under the pen-name of _kyrie_ and is a published author of non-fiction BDSM literature on the website BindandControl.com. Additionally, she publishes an on-line resource of local BDSM, Leather, and alternative lifestyle events for the greater Southeast region and part of the Northeast region of the United States called the "Southeast Regional Alternative Lifestyle Newsletter and Calendar".

Auburn has been an active member of the BDSM community for almost a decade now. She has held leadership positions in several NC organizations over the years, including the Triangle Munch Group (TMG) and the Female Artists of Domination (FAD). Auburn loves giving back to the community through her presentations, which have included national events such as Beyond Leather, Southeast LeatherFest, Leather Leadership Conference, TESFest, Winter Solstice, Fetish Fair Fleamarket in North Carolina and DomCon Atlanta.
